As you can see, the front end did not escape the attentions of the saw, cut-off wheels or plsma-cutter either.
The front got new lower control arms.

If you are wondering what this thing is, it is the computer designed bulkhead we designed that will locate the front shocks and upper control arms. Wait a minute, you say, a Ranger has a strut front-end and there are no upper a-arms!...
...Yeah, well, struts suck, so we designed a wat to turn that front end into a-arms. You can also see the new, racier-looking front bumper, and the extensive cage/chassis work-all of which was computer designed.

We thought the old '02 need a facelift, so we hooked the customer up with some meaner-looking '06 plastic.

Here is a view of the front bulkhead and front suspension with everything installed.
This vehicle was designed and built in just under three weeks. When it was done enough to go with the customer on a camping trip, we tagged along to see how it would do. The first morning, we adjusted the shocks a lillte, looked it over and put gas in it.
Seeing as the only drive time it had on it was from the shop to the trailer, we decided to drive it nice and easy for a gentle break-in cruise next.

YEAH, RIGHT!!! Load it up and see what this thing can do! This is it's first run.

Nice, easy break-in-ha, ha!! The owner flogged this thing for two days straight with as many as five people in it with no mercy.(click "next" below for more)
