Showtime! This is the start line of the Terrible Town's 250 '06 BITD off-road race.

Here is the Kincaid car leaving pit 2(TT 250 '06) after getting a flat changed. Flying rocks and dust are like a desert racing thank you card from the driver.

And here we are entering pit 4(TT 250 '06), looking good but a little off the pace due to another flat just before pit 3.

Here's the scheduled fuel stop at pit 5(TT 250 '06) and app. half way through the race course. A desert pit doesn't look anything like nascar pit! You're lucky if you get a half-way level spot free of cactus and shrubs! There's no wall, often no speed limit and usually all hands on deck to try to service the car and drivers as fast as possible. Here the car gets fuel and a quick but careful inspection of the suspension, drivetrain, engine and tires to spot any potential problems.The drivers get some fresh water, a quick food suplement and then it's back to business. A typical stop like this will take just under 2 min. , the car will take on close to 30 gallons of fuel and if nothing is wrong be sent on it's way. Every second counts and the heat is on the crew to do all of this as quickly as possible without missing anything or making a mistake. Every second feels like an hour during a pit stop.

And here's the Kincaid car coming into pit 8(TT250 '06). This is the last pit before the finish line. The car got one more flat on the way-for a total of 3 flats for the day. No other real problems were encountered, but the flats cost enough time to put us back to 12th in class and 17th overall in a very competitive race with a lot of fast cars and aggressive drivers.

And here is the Kincaid Racing Trick Truck doing some last-minute testing just prior to the 2007 Terrible's Town 250. 900 horses and 900 ft-lb of torque moves a lot of earth and rockets the trucks front end off the ground.
